Real help without leaving home

For a lot of people, the hardest part of getting help is simply getting there. Long work days, kids, travel, health issues or worry about being seen walking into a counselor’s office can all get in the way.

Online counseling removes those barriers. You meet with me privately from home, your car or anywhere you have a secure connection, and you get the same personal attention and daily support as clients who come to my Keller office.

Online counseling is still real counseling, and it is not a scaled-down version of the real thing. You work one-on-one with me, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, on the same issues and with the same care as in my office. The only difference is where you sit. For many people, that small change is what finally makes it possible to start. It also means bad weather, a sick child or a long day at work does not have to mean a missed session, which keeps your recovery moving forward week after week.

Online counseling is a good fit if you

  • Have a busy schedule that makes office visits hard
  • Live outside the Keller area but anywhere in Texas
  • Value extra privacy and do not want to be seen at an office
  • Travel often for work
  • Want to start right away without arranging time off

how it works

How online counseling works

Secure sessions

We meet privately online. You just need a quiet, private space and a phone, tablet or computer with a good connection.

The same approach

Online sessions use the same proven methods as in-person work, including CBT, DBT and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Daily support

You have daily support between sessions, so you are never alone when a hard moment hits, wherever you are.

what to expect

Getting the most out of online counseling

Online counseling works best when you treat it like a real appointment. Find a private room where you will not be overheard, silence notifications and give yourself a few minutes before and after the session to settle in and reflect.

Some clients sit in their parked car on a lunch break. Others prefer their home office after the kids are in bed. We find what works for your life, and we can adjust as your schedule changes.

Because you also have daily support between sessions, online counseling does not feel distant. You have a real connection with your counselor and help when you need it.

Online sessions can also make it easier to keep going during busy or difficult seasons, like travel, illness, a new baby or a demanding stretch at work. Consistency is one of the biggest factors in recovery, and online counseling helps you keep showing up even when life gets hectic.

A counselor who’s been there

I’m Jennifer Sartin, MS, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (Texas LCDC #11510) with 17 years of experience. Before I became a counselor, I struggled with alcohol and drugs myself, so I understand this from the inside.

My practice focuses only on addiction. Every client gets a weekly session plus daily support between sessions, because recovery happens in everyday life, not just in my office.
